Times Online Advertising Soars

CEO Janet Robinson states:
'We continue to be very pleased with About.com'

The overall 4.4 % increase in ad sales (print & online, at the NYT Company) per September, against previous year, has been generated mostly at About.com and other online properties. Calculated without About.com figures the increase of ads was only 1,6 % per September.

For the Times Media Group's Internet properties, ad revenues were up 30.5 percent, while ad revenues generated by About.com grew by a solid 67 percent.
