Online Ad spending - Highest Growth Seen for Blogs Marketing

Outsell Ad Spending Study - based on responses from 1.200 advertisers in B2B and B2C - shows an average growth on online ad spending of 19 % in 2006. Knowing that the base of ad spending on blogs is still small, a projected growth rates of 43 % on blogs means that existing spender consider to increase their budget and/or new spender will go into blog marketing.

In lead generation, traditional tactics (Events, Trade publication, DM) are still leading, but non-traditional tactics catching up fast - already 80 % of respondence using non-traditional means for lead generation.
