Not long ago Braun announced, that Yahoo would take a leading role as content creator for sitcoms, talk shows and other TV-style programs in the Web. He is on a steep learning curve. After finding out (he joined Yahoo in Nov. 2004), it is not so easy and a different business, Yahoo will now take a sharp turn and switch focus on acquiring content from media companies and users ...
For us this is not new phenomenon. There is a lot more business in syndication, than in origional publishing and I'm sure, in future we will see more often the function of content creation, syndication and delivery will be separate functions - even in traditionel media!
