comScore's December 2007 figures are out and confirm the comfortable position Google has around the world. Not so (much) in China [Baidu.com] and Russia [Yandex.ru] (yet, but working hard to improve their position) ... even if you believe that comScore covers all countries in the same profoundness.

Yakov Sadchikov (quintura) points to the fact that Yandex CTO Ilya Segalovich recently talked about 35 mil. searches per day, which would rank Yandex before Time Warner Network (AOL, etc.) and Ask Network (Ilya's Interview on Yandex and the Russian seachmarket at centernetworks)
