Global business information spending will decline by a negative 3.8% CAGR between 2008 and 2013, with spending falling from 86.7 billion USD in 2008 to 76.9 billion USD in 2013.
Global trade magazine print advertising will fall by a 4.1% CAGR, dropping from 17.9 billion USD in 2008 to 14.6 billion USD in 2013. While trade magazine digital advertising will increase 11.1% CAGR between 2008 - 2013, from 1.8 to 2.9 billion USD ...
We don't expect PwC (and all others) to be able to look into the future, just look back what they predicted four years back for 2009. But this figures show that PwC expects quite a tough ride for b2b Publishing and Publisher for 2009 and 2010, specially in the print.
