EIAA Marketers Internet Ad Barometer 2nd half: Online Ad Spending Poised to Grow

- predict a 7.6% year on year rise in online advertising spend in 2010 and a sharper increase of over 15% forecast for 2011
- 84% are satisfied with the performance of online as a advertising medium, ranking it between 6 and 10 (1 not at all satisfied and 10 very satisfied)
- 36% have increased online media planning to take advantage of effective targeting capabilities during the economic downturn
- 31% have increased online media planning to take advantage of cost efficiencies
- 33% organizations are already incorporating mobile into their overall advertising strategies
