JEGI M&A Media Report 2010 Reveals

As every year in January, we look on The Jordan.Edmiston Group M&A Reports and get (past) figures and events which changed our industry. In number of deals we are somewhere near to 2006/2007 heights, in value far away, as you can see from this chart

And it reads (e.g.):
US B2B Media Deal Value declined in 2010 from 3,556 m to 534 m USD, whilst the number of deals increased from 20 to 37

US B2B Online Media & Technology Deal Value increased from 1,332 m to 2,508 m USD, and number of deals increased slightly from 53 to 59

US B2C Online Media & Technology Deal Value increased from 7,031 m to 8,446 m USD, and number of deals increased from 139 to 230

US Newspaper Publishing Deal Value increased from 199 m to 1,457 m USD, and number of deals decreased 14 to 10
