Every year The Jordan, Edmiston Group, Inc. provides an overview of M&A Activities based on its JEGI Transaction Database.
The following chart shows that the number of transactions and the value of M&A in Media, Information, Marketing Services and Technology grew (again) moderately in 2011 (vs. 2010).
Business-to-Business Media crashed heavily, 62% in No. of deals and 91% in value. So did the Database & Information Service category. Consumer Magazine M&A grew in No. 23 % and Value 1,395% ...
For 2012 JEGI projects healthy growth ahead.
