According to the The Jordan Edmiston Group (JEGI) Transaction Database U.S. M & A in Media surged 2014 to pre-crises levels
driven a lot by mega deals
Marketing Services & Technology was again number one with 602 recorded deals and total value of 39.7 bn USD. Second comes Healthcare Information & Technology, third in numbers of deals is B2C Online Media & Technology, in value Mobile Media & Technology takes rank three.
For the publishing industry it was a mixed bag: B2B Media up (thx two Advanstar, Trader Media) and Consumer Mags down
