GroupM: Advertising Growth 2008 by Region

According to a new study from GroupM, advertising spending Television and the internet are the primary engines of global ad growth, and spending on marketing services, such as sponsorships and public relations, is growing at a faster rate than for traditional advertising.

The growth in 2008 comes from

21 % from China
20 % from USA
6 % from Russia and Brazil (each) - and only
3 % from India
