Why Procter & Gamble Doesn't Understand Social Media

Joe Hall gives Procter & Gamble credits for at least trying to engage social media, but his verdict on attempts like "2X Ultra Tide" collecting just 18 photos incl. P&G own take and "Crest Whitestrips" collecting around 14.000 fans ... failed, failed drastically ... more

When a company, an organization, anyone wants to engage in Social Media ... they need to be engaged and engaging user in a enlightening, entertaining and/or beneficial conversation, for all parties involved ... e.g. if a BMW/Mini campaign delivers test-drive arrangements (something like 6.800, if I remember correctly) that's worth the time an money from both sides
