Ad expenditure for newspapers (Category share 2009: 11.4 %)
plummeted 18.6 % (after 12.5 % in 2008) to 673.9 billion JPY
Ad expenditure for Internet (Category share 2009: 11.9 %)
grew 1.2 % vs 2008 to 706.9 billion JPY and overtook newspaper ad spending for the first time
Ad expenditure in magazines (Category share 2009: 5,1 %)
plummeted 25.6 % to 303.4 billion JPY.
Television - 10.2 % to 1,713.9 billion JPY (Share 29.0 %)
Radio - 11.6 % to 137.0 billion JPY (Share 2.3 %)
