2009 Annual Statistic of the German B2B Press / B2B Media



The Deutsche Fachpresse (the German Association of the Business Media Industry) published today their Annual Business Media Statistic 2009, about the state and performance of the Trade Press in Germany.

For our international clients & network partner we published (like every year) a short translated version:

Total Turnover with B2B Media
- 3,003 Mio. Euro (minus 4.2 %)

Turnover with B2B-/Trade magazines
- 1.796 Mio. Euro (minus 10.9 %)

Advertising Turnover Print
- 852 Mio. Euro (minus 17.4 %)

Turnover from Circulation Print
- 866 Mio. Euro (minus 4.9 %)

Books, loose-leaf editions
- 682 Mio. Euro (plus 4.5 %)

Electronic Media (Online, CD, etc.)
- 359 Mio. Euro (plus 21.9 %)

Services, Others
- 166 Mio. Euro (minus 3.2 %)

Share of Cross-Border income

in 2009: 9,7 %
in 2008: 8.6 %
in 2007: 11.2%
in 2006: 13.0%
