8th Academic Publishing Conference Europe is just three weeks away, time to decide to take part and make reservations accordingly. The
illustrious and distinguished program committee has chosen the motto '
The Funding of Publishing. Changes and Consequences for Science and Society' - the lowest common denominator they could agree on, it shows the handwriting of the publishers group and it doesn't sound dialogical at all. [That's my version, anyway]
My favorite theme would have been, '
Rethinking and Building the new interface between the science community and the public(s)', but you can't always carve it yourself.
